It's a bar just down the road from where I just moved to. I didn't know there are still places you can still smoke in. This is one of them. I planned to grab a beer or two and get something to eat but as soon as I walked in the place the stench of the smoke hit me. I forgot about getting anything to eat. I drank a beer and left. I have no problems with bars that allow smoking. It's their business choice. I just won't go there again. The bartender was great so they have that going for them.
I would not suggest this as restaurant option because you can smoke inside. More of a biker bar than anything. The Helen Back in Niceville is much nicer.
This used to be the hub of Crestview activity. Every Thursday was bike night and we had a huge mix of clubs and some rubs but it was always a happening joint...there was free pizza if you rode in on your bike...now there is no bike night, no place to start your night off right, no pizza because the bowling alley next door has been sold to a church and is now putting up a giant privacy fence so they don't have to see us sinners indulging. The owner pissed away all his employees paychecks at the casino trying to make enough money to pay the astronomical back taxes due from the liquor license surprise it didn't work...that last bit was heresay but pretty solid sources...still better than dons, the crest, the lounge, and split oaks. Liquor is decently priced and the staff is always friendly but they found a great way to run a successful bar straight the hell into the ground.
