Given I usually go to get materials for a current repair or project, it helps if you measure, design and know what you want BEFORE you go to Lowes in the first place.
So far, I do projects around seasons and usually the ad will help to determine price.
So on Oct 27th went in to order part for a chainsaw. Spent an hour ( literally) for a 10min procedure to special order a part. 3 different employees didn't know how and wouldn't listen to me tell them how to order the part ( call Dixie Sales and then they'll give you part number to enter n order) long story short 10 days later no call went in this morning part was there but wrong. Spoke to store Mngr ( No Apologies) and 3rd problem at this store will never go back. Oh yeah and just bought our house last year and remodeling will be going anywhere else but here!!!
Terrible, terrible place. Whatever you do, do not use their installation services. I signed a contract for Windows. It wasn't until a month later that I was told that they did not want to do the job. Also, they require you to pay for the whole job before it's finished. I have spoken with the store manager and corporate. They offered no resolution.

I love Lowe's it's my most favorite store. It is so clean and organized if you need help THEY ARE RIGHT THERE other stores ought to pay attention to this.
