I went to this school as a kid. I moved around quite a bit, I have lots of vague memories of this school and town. Sad to hear it's no longer open, makes since considering I never got a reply about a year book I was requesting several months back. I'm thinking 1988-89ish is when I attended, if anyone has a yearbook in that time frame it would be a dream to share it with me or even better if there is one out there I could buy. Even tho its been a lifetime ago i often wonder how those in my life then are doing now. Some of my earliest memories are here before I was shipped across the country. More than 12 schools by the 9th grade. Made it hard for me to remember any names.
Sadly, Southside is now closed. My son attended there from K-5, and we had a terrific experience with the administration, the teachers - everyone. I volunteered often, and felt genuinely welcome. My son misses it still, and he's going into high school soon!
