I communicated back and forth about purchasing a 2017 Ford Escape s that was advertised for a month online for a few weeks with the representative. I was blunt and specific about the car I was looking for and the finance I needed before even coming in. Jessica, encouraged me to come in to make the deal. I drove an hour after work to be told that the models they advertised online were “Fleet”...however, when looking online some were shown as fleet while others were advertised available for sale.
Thought we bought a good truck.. Appeared to be running perfectly and in perfect condition. They assured us over and over that they hate car salesman and they wouldn't screw us over like other dealerships. Haven't even made the first payment and the truck breaks down. We take it to a diesel mechanic, and he basically tells us they fixed it temporarily. Now having to put almost $2k in a truck we have had for a month. We are in college and don't know much about cars/trucks as far as engines and they completely took advantage of that and sold us a truck that was on the verge of breakdown. Oh, and we live in Miami so have no way to get it back there because it doesn't drive.
We were very pleased with our experience here. We had an amazing experience with CHASE BOYD! Highly recommend Chase. Very knowledgeable young man who made this experience tolerable. I depise purchasing a new vehicle. Chase made it easy on us.
I was then pushed to try to buy a more expensive new Ford Escape. I explained over and over again that we really could only afford the 2017 model. Still, I was conned to sit there and discuss possible financing for a 2018. After I explained I could not afford this multiple times, I finally walked out. Two and a half hours were completely wasted.
Kudos to Mike, John and all the team at Hub City Ford. We just bought an Expedition and i couldn't be more satisfied with the deal. Even my banker was impressed with the processing! I've had some pleasant auto buying experiences in the past with several different dealers and I must say that Hub City ranks among the best! Thanks John!
I just purchased my second Ford F150 from Hub City Ford, and again it was a no pressure experience. My salesman (Chase) was courteous and endured my ramblings with grace. I will definitely return to purchase from here and hope to deal with Chase again.
I emailed the VP about the incident and didn’t even receive a response. This place appears crooked, and after dealing with this situation I will never purchase from here and would encourage anyone and everyone to do likewise.
